1. Our Commitment

At Little Chums Baby Shop, customer satisfaction is our top priority.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. We accept returns and offer replacements or refunds under the conditions outlined below.


2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging (with all tags, labels, and accessories intact).

  • Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or M-Pesa message) must be provided.

Please note:
Certain products are non-returnable due to hygiene and safety reasons (see section 4 below).


3. Return Process

If you wish to return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us

  2. Approval

    • Our customer service team will review your request and confirm if the item is eligible for return.

    • You’ll receive instructions on how and where to send the product.

  3. Shipping the Item

    • You may drop off the product at our Tasia, Embakasi, Nairobi store or send it via a reliable courier.

    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or wrong.

  4. Inspection & Confirmation

    • Once we receive your returned item, we’ll inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.


4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used:

  • Baby feeding products (bottles, nipples, pacifiers, sterilizers)

  • Diapers, wipes, and hygiene products

  • Breast pumps and maternity innerwear

  • Opened skincare and health products

  • Items on clearance or marked “final sale”

We encourage customers to confirm product details and compatibility before purchasing.


5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive:

  • A damaged, defective, or incorrect item,
    please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We’ll require:

  • Photos or videos of the product and packaging

  • Your order number or receipt

Once verified, we’ll offer:

  • A replacement (if available), or

  • A full refund, including return shipping fees.

We reserve the right to reject claims made after the 48-hour window unless special circumstances apply.


6. Refunds

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3–7 business days.

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method (e.g., M-Pesa, bank transfer, or credit card).

  • You’ll receive confirmation once the refund is processed.

If your refund is delayed beyond 7 days, please contact info@littlechumsbabyshop.co.ke for assistance.


7. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item:

  • You may exchange for a different size, color, or similar product, subject to stock availability.

  • If the desired item costs more, you’ll pay the price difference.

  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the balance via your preferred payment method.


8. Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order before dispatch by contacting our support team.
Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
In that case, you may initiate a return after receiving the product, following this policy.


9. Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

While we partner with reputable courier companies, Little Chums Baby Shop is not liable for delays or damages caused by third-party delivery services.
However, we’ll assist in resolving such cases to the best of our ability, including liaising with the courier to track or replace lost packages.
